Stuff that’s changed:
The last pieces of furniture for Master/Prod B shipped yesterday. Delivery is expected in 5 to 6 days. This includes the equipment racks and VTED Producer table
New water coolers will arrive tomorrow. They will be located in the Green Room, upstairs Mezzanine and downstairs near the LMA’s with sliding doors.
The bottom window panels of the two mezzanine conference rooms and the crows nest will be opaqued tomorrow. This may not be the permanent solution, but will add some privacy to those areas.
The steel covering the reception desk is now scheduled to arrive tomorrow. It looks like that will indeed be ready before April 18th.
Stuff that stays the same for now:
All the stuff that stays the same, stays the same. Sort of like the unknown knowns.
Punch List additions:
Wooden steps to the mezzanine are cracking...is that OK?
The wooden steps are hemlock and would be expected to crack some with drying and aging. However the appearance and durability are an issue and the construction team (VPR, NCC, and WLA) are pricing out alternatives and different approaches.
There is a chattering noise in the air vent in the North Conference room.
Laurie has reported this to NCC and they will have a look.
Staff Questions at the Scrum?
The printer in the news room is set up to have the paper come out facing the wall; can we just turn that 90 degrees so the paper coming out is towards the room?
Laurie will look at it to determine whether the venting coming out of the machine will impact the temperature and will turn the machine if possible.
There was a distinct expression of disapproval if the movement of the copy machine would somehow make the room cooler because the heat fan changed the thermostat near that area. Brian noted that the fans in the room are designed to be circulating warm air downward, but the middle of the room may be cooler than other areas in general.
And remember...
We are getting access to the cafe and lobby this Monday, but some stuff won’t be finished yet:

- Lights in skylight will be lowered and wired with black wiring - delay in getting the wiring
- Doors and glass panels for the ‘community room’ - 4 to 6 weeks till delivery, then installation
- Kitchen sink is being replaced with a larger one - around 4/19
- Custom farmhouse table and kitchen island - 4 to 6 weeks out
- Final table tops for cafe tables - temporary tops will stay put until a to-be-designed photo project is ready to be installed on the table tops.
- Interior front door - wrong door shipped, new door is being built
- Donor wall/Pantry door - being built now
- Doors for space next to lobby elevator - still to be installed
- TV monitor for cafe - still to be installed
- More items may end up on this list by the end of the week!
Will the sink be functional in the meantime, while we wait for a bigger one?
