Scrum Notes - April 20 - LAST DAILY SCRUM!

Daily dose of wildlife:
So, here we are just hanging out at VPR, a family of deer. We heard there's great natural light around here and also a good chance of happening onto a slice of cake. We'll be back. 

New kitchen - opens "for real" on Monday

• Starting Monday morning, the dishes, utensils, miscellaneous useful bits and cleaning supplies will be in the new kitchen, and the new coffeemakers will be operational. Everything (useful) from the old kitchen and fridge will be moved to the new kitchen and fridge on Sunday. As of Monday morning, consider the old kitchen closed for business. (Also, assume that homes I give to utensils, dishes, etc will be vetoed and reorganized over the coming weeks as we get new dishes, utensils, drawer racks, etc.)
• We’ve begun breaking in the new coffee machine! We want to be certain that it’s clean and ready for prime time, so keep using the old setup for the rest of the week. (We also nee to confirm how much coffee we're supposed to put into those massive urns.) 
• The new kitchen sink is scheduled for installation on Friday or Saturday, hence officially opening the kitchen on Monday.

Staff questions/new punchlist items:

Compaction in the front is impacting the CD players in Studio B
Didn't see that coming. We'll figure out the timing and create a work-around.

Can the window opaquing be removed? I wear a skirt and I don't like it.
The opaquing was intended to prevent the possibility of "upskirting." The window treatment was inexpensive and easy to change, we can look at options that are less intrusive on the open vibe of the space. 

When will the LMA rooms and other meeting spaces get phones?
Alternatively, is it possible to unplug our desk phones and use them in an LMA? Answer forthcoming.

What is the schedule of our cleaners?
Your faithful blogger is not sure, and everyone who knows is in a meeting. We'll get you an answer next time around.
